Public Feedback for Downtown Brampton Transit Hub Wanted

Potential Design for Downtown Transit Hub

The City of Brampton continues to be one of Canada’s fastest-growing cities, and the need for a transit system that keeps people moving efficiently is a top priority for City Council.

To that end, the City is undertaking the Downtown Transit Hub Study, a major step toward building a modern hub that can handle more buses, support electric transit technology and create a better experience for riders and operators alike.

The City is seeking public input by hosting a Downtown Transit Hub Public Information Centre (PIC #2), where residents can learn about the shortlist of hub options and share feedback on the preliminary preferred designs.

The study aims to help plan the next generation of Brampton Transit in downtown Brampton. Staff will be on hand seeking public feedback to evaluate the potential configuration and location for the new Downtown Transit Hub. The final design would boost capacity, improve service quality and provide for future-proof infrastructure for electric buses and a growing population.

If you care about how Brampton gets around, not just now, but decades from now, take part in shaping the plan. Let’s build a better, more connected downtown together.
